On October 10, 2024, the SMERALD Project hosted a successful online event that provided European SMEs with practical knowledge on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and data analysis to foster business growth. The event featured a mix of real-life business cases, expert insights, and interactive workshops, giving participants valuable tools and strategies to implement AI in their own businesses.
The session opened with an introduction to the SMERALD Project and its key objectives, followed by a presentation of the best business cases and frameworks for AI application. Dr. Lisa Hilte from VAIA – Flanders AI Academy delivered a compelling keynote, shedding light on how AI and data-driven solutions can transform SMEs.
Participants also engaged in hands-on activities with AI tools, learning how to use them for reporting, marketing, brainstorming, and more. The event concluded with a Q&A session, where attendees had the chance to ask further questions and share their insights.
